This week’s Deadlift Sesh… came in spun from all the snow removal to get out of the house to get here. Dialled down the 16 weeks program down to 12 to get this program completed. Came in to do 50% for 5x5’s… not only did I miss count my first set but I realized on my 3rd working set I mis loaded the bar by 15 pounds lol … and to finish this shamble with not hitting record on my 5th set 🤦🏽♂️ oh well 🤷🏾♂️ at least I got here and got it done 🤙🏾
It was been a very very long time since I have Deadlifted any weight. I have decided to Re introduce it into my training. First video is the 5th set of 5 sets of 6 reps. This is week 1 of 16 at 50% (300) to reach 600. Really stoked how this turned out. Looking forward to bringing my deadlifts back to BIG numbers once again.

Re pinning this one… simply because it was my largest achievement ever with success, with touching weights since a teen in 1990…. This was not only my LAST Deadlift on a stage especially at the 2017 festival. But my Last Deadlift at the age of 41 years of age and weighing over 300 pounds… second largest achievement next to this was losing 100 pounds after it 💪🏾 and it was All worth it. 🤙🏾…. Boom

One of the greatest things I ever put my entire self behind was this incredible home gym… I shared it with everyone part of the team of training day in day out… Squat cage, custom bench, full cable system, Lat pull down, leg press/hack squat machine, GHR stand alone, stand alone incline decline bench, power bar, dead lift bar, safety squat bar, rack of dumbbells from 5-100 pounds and over 2000 pounds in plates from 2.5, 5, 10, 25, 45 and 100 pound plates, for cardio and an actual stair master…. And believe it or not. Full stereo, tv, mini fridge and microwave lol. RIP - BIG “Boomers Iron Grounds”, I still miss it every day I coach and train.

to summer 2019, been through a lot since then aside from Covid, along with work, Injuries and much more. BUT it is now time to focus on me… I WILL be bringing my real self back this off season 2022 into Spring 2023…. Watch out 👀 the 🦍 is coming back!!! ***
