Meet Emma Logan, a remarkable deaf curler from Nova Scotia! Emma has been pursuing her passion for curling since the age of 11. π
Despite the challenges, she represented Nova Scotia at the Tournament of Hearts in 2020 and 2021.
Emma is not only an elite player, but also an advocate for curling accessibility for the deaf and hard of hearing πͺ She dreams of establishing programs on the East Coast to encourage greater participation in the sport. Communication is crucial in curling, and Emma's journey illustrates the power of resilience and determination!

In exactly βοΈ year, from November 10 to 17, 2024, the 6th Pan American Games for the Deaf will take place in Canoas, Brazil π§π·
This exceptional competition provides a platform to celebrate the talent and determination of Deaf athletes. CDSA is excited about the potential participation of our national teams in a variety of sports, including:
