Brampton Hockey Club Patron Olympian Amarjit Singh Rai, Olympic Gold Medalist, retired from his job yesterday after completing his 30-year career at the Toronto Airport. All junior and senior players of the Brampton Club sent their congratulations to Amarjit Rai (Rana Bhaji) and shared their happiness by cutting a cake during Sunday morning hockey practice and during breakfast. Rana Bhaji also accepted the club’s request to contribute more to the club’s annual tournament and junior training program. Rana Bhaji announced that preparations will begin now to make this year’s Brampton Cup even more spectacular and large-scale.

ਬਰੈਂਪਟਨ ਹਾਕੀ ਕਲੱਬ ਦੇ ਸਰਪਰਸਤ ਓਲੰਪੀਅਨ ਅਮਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਰਾਏ ਓਲੰਪਿਕ ਗੋਲ਼ਡ ਮੈਡਲਿਸਟ ਟਰੰਟੋ ਇਰਪੋਰਟ ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ 30 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਕਰਕੇ ਬੀਤੇ ਦਿਨੀ ਨੌਕਰੀ ਤੋਂ ਰਿਟਾਇਰ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ। ਬਰੈਂਪਟਨ ਕਲੱਬ ਦੇ ਸਾਰੇ ਜੂਨੀਅਰ ਅਤੇ ਸੀਨੀਅਰ ਪਲੇਅਰਾਂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਅਮਰਜੀਤ ਰਾਏ ( ਰਾਣਾ ਭਾਜੀ ) ਨੂੰ ਮੁਬਾਰਕਾਂ ਭੇਜੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਐਤਵਾਰ ਸਵੇਰੇ ਦੀ ਹਾਕੀ ਪ੍ਰੈਕਟਿਸ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਬਰੇਕਫਾਸਟ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਕੇਕ ਕੱਟ ਕੇ ਖੁਸ਼ੀਆਂ ਸਾਂਝੀਆਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ। ਰਾਣਾ ਭਾਜੀ ਨੇ ਕਲੱਬ ਦੇ ਸਲਾਨਾ ਟੂਰਨਾਮੈਂਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਤੇ ਜੂਨੀਅਰ ਟਰੇਨਿੰਗ ਪ੍ਰੋਗਰਾਮ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਧੇਰੇ ਯੋਗਦਾਨ ਪਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਕਲੱਬ ਦੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਵੀ ਸਵੀਕਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ। ਰਾਣਾ ਭਾਜੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਸਾਲ ਦਾ ਬਰੈਂਪਟਨ ਕੱਪ ਹੋਰ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਵੱਡੇ ਪੱਧਰ ਦਾ ਕਰਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਤਿਆਰੀ ਹੁਣੇ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰਨ ਦਾ ਐਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ।
