One of the newest forwards in the Oshawa Generals Hockey Club organization, Alex Hebblethwaite is an offence-focused forward who is excited for the challenge at the next level. In an interview with The 6ix Hockey, Hebblethwaite recounted his time spent with the Mississauga Reps in the GTHL, his experiences travelling across the world for minor hockey, and the strides he’s taken to improve his game during the pandemic. With the 257th pick of the 2021 OHL Priority Selection, the Kitchener Rangers selected Joseph Macchione of the Markham Majors. The forward from Mississauga, Ontario had a decent season in 2019/20 with 12 goals and 12 assists in 31 games at the centre position. Macchione is a clutch player who approaches the game with a chip on his shoulder and is always striving to prove his doubters wrong. At 5’8” and 155 pounds, Macchione’s nimble frame and great hands make him a dangerous playmaker in the offensive zone regardless of where he’s deployed.
