BENSON LAU VS DENIS RABINOVICH - 8-BALL RACE TO 9 [PART 1] IS OUT!!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C21hBjq8mLk
What a way to get out of a sticky situation in the late game! Your opponent rattles their last ball, the 8 ball is close to the upper right corner pocket, and you are left with a blocked corner pocket in the bottom right while the cue ball is in front of the 8 ball. What would you do here?

Video Demonstration of Drill 5: The Snooker Colour Clearance Drill
06/14/2019
Fun Drill Friday #5:
Place the yellow, green, brown, blue, purple (or pink), and black balls on the designated spots, similar to that on a snooker table. Then try to make the balls in order: yellow, green, brown, blue, purple (or pink), and finally black, the same order on a snooker table again.
This is good for practicing speed control, which is often overlooked and underrated. There are times where you need to hit hard, but there are also times where you can hit the shot softly. Sometimes, shooting too hard or soft can leave you with a hard shot afterwards. Not much spin is needed to make the balls in order.
The first three shots are definitely the hardest, but the drill gets easier as it progresses. This drill requires less balls so it is more convenient to practice with, but do not let that fool you into thinking this is easy. Practice, practice, practice!

Fun Drill Friday 4:
Place 11 balls on the corresponding positions on the rails or pockets; these are your targets. Shoot the object ball into the side pocket and try to hit each target once.
This is good for practicing cue ball control. Precise top and bottom spin is required to hit each target consistently. Start at the closest target and move along the rails until you reach all 11 targets. Beware, this drill is extremely hard and it gets worse as you progress with your targets.
The first 4 balls can be shot with varying levels of top spin, the 5th ball can be shot with no spin (hit the centre of the ball), and the rest of the balls can be shot with varying levels of bottom spin.
