It’s the Commissioner here, just letting you know that after 12 years, I’m ready to let the trash be talked. I’m willing to answer any question. From anyone. It’s time. I’ve read the interviews over the years, conducted without my viewpoint. I’m ready for Vic Payback. Betty Clocker. Boozy Suzy. Sally Spitfire. Polly Esther. Charley Davidson. Apocalypstick. Even Ref Matt. Bring it! I’m also ready for Dinah Mite, Carmen Monoxide, Olivia Neutron Bomb, Scrapula, Eiffel Power, Sarah Bellum and Ref Ross Jeremy. And anyone/everyone else, from any fighter or buffer or journalist, from fans, to bookers, to armchair fight specialists…to anyone that ever cared…or doesn’t care…I’m ready.

Hi! Um the League started as a collaboration between my surf band and a burlesque troupe on New Years Eve 2005. We did it again on NYE 2006. As the drummer for the Tijuana Bibles and “The Commissioner Of The Pillow Fight League” I saw an opportunity from my vantage point looking at the audience. Women in the crowd were going wild at the women on stage fighting each other! I could tell a couple of female friends in the front row, if goaded into it, could be our first Amateur Match. Let’s watch, shall we? It is moments after midnite into 2006.

Shipping out four posters to a fan in Baton Rouge - thanks for the order, Jeremy! Hey I had a fun idea that is easyish to do in this day and age. I host and talk to former fighters, buffers, refs, bookers, my lawyer and more, with hopefully footage playback, LIVE, right here once in a while! The history, particular events, particular fights, backstage, it’s open season! I’ve already asked someone and she’s totally down - you’ll find out who soon. Made some headway today. This is daunting! There’s two early tapes I’m looking at, before we ever had a live event. Very interesting footage. Looking up old contacts, think I’ll make an Etsy page for posters and pillow cases. Have to get my posters organized. There’s so many ugh this is a big project.
