Some words I wrote a short while ago that still ring true....Fitness for me is living a healthy lifestyle.
Our lives are long as humans, so it's good to plan it that way. Plans change yes, but it's good to have some guidance and know at least where we are headed.
How do we enjoy our time with it?
How do we learn to love the process?
To push through those days we are tired?
To change our self talk to something positive?
How do we better ourselves without hating it?
Without making excuses for ourselves?
How do we actually make changes that are long lasting?
How do we make it easier on ourselves?
How do we change how we feel about being active?
About living in our bodies,
How to lift and move our muscles.
To experience what it feels like to get stronger and see how much we can handle.
To push yourself and build your mental capacity for (good) pain.
To take action and control one aspect of your life.
Interestingly enough it tends to pour over to all other areasโฆ
So give yourself patience,
Give yourself grace,
It doesn't need to be so serious and rigid.
Move more,
Smile more while doing it,
Don't judge yourself for it too hard,
And just keep going, keep consistency as a goal and you will start to see change too.

When does it STOP?!?!
The negative self talk,
The lack of self confidence,
Treating ourselves like the last person on the list?
Giving in to our vulnerabilities?
Believe what others care about you?
The lack of hope and joy and motivation to live our own lives?
What it all comes down to is how much we love ourselves. I'm the first person to admit this has taken me a long time, been a huge struggle for most of my life and it's something that will be a journey for the rest.
But why not find grace for yourself?ย
Why not live a happy and peaceful life?
I promise it will get easier and easier once you practice it...
I know we can't control everything that happens in our lives but it's true that we can control how we perceive it and how we want to react in situations.
Try being kind to yourself as you would your best friend or family member, remember you come first in your life,
remember to find that time to build yourself up.
Even if it's a few mins a day you can spare.
I've learned that positive reinforcement can change your brain when working on new habits, it makes you want to do them more and therefore more likely to happen again.ย
So tell yourself you're doing a great job, thank yourself for pushing yourself and also finding the time to take a breath, reinforce that you are a masterpiece and one of a kind special kick ass human being and f**k all this madness!!!!
Let's finally just LOVE OURSELVES!
What's the alternative?ย
Hate yourself for the rest of your life?!?
Don't be crazy!!ย
You deserve more ๐๐๐
