Alhamdulillah! Sylhet Warriors sent 5 players in the Danforth Premier L DPL 2025 draft, and 4 of them were picked tonight.

Syed Rahim Ahmed will represent Lal Shobuj, Tashrif Arafat Sakib will represent Greater Barlekha Sporting Club, Nazmul Islam Suhag will represent Gentleman CC, and MD Abdul Muhit will represent Chittagong Vikings. I would like to congratulate all of you on this remarkable achievement.

Out of over 250 players, only 130 were expected to be picked — and you four made it to the top. You are the true superstars of Sylhet Warriors. We are extremely proud of you all. Please take this opportunity to show the world the calibre that is yet to be revealed.

🚨Ladies and gentlemen, presenting to you, the official theme song of Sylhet Warriors💥

07/14/2025

Tashrif Arafat Sakib played in the Champions Cup 2025, representing Lal Shobuj. He didn’t need to come to the crease early on, as Lal Shobuj consistently got off to flying starts.

Sakib finally got the chance to bat in the quarter-final match against the Chittagong Vikings, where he had a blistering start to his innings. He smashed 3 sixes in the first 4 balls he faced. Unfortunately, he couldn’t convert the start into a big score and was dismissed after scoring 19 runs off just 6 deliveries.

That said, make no mistake — Sakib is in red-hot form this season and is currently the leading run-scorer for Sylhet Warriors.

4 innings-3 not outs and he’s made sure the team reaches first in the finish line always.

Talking about our Syed Rahim Ahmed who is currently slaying the Champions Cup 2025 while representing Osmani SC.

All the best, Rahim! The ‘Tandob’ you’re displaying right now is no surprise to us. You’ve always shown us your potential — now it’s time for the world to witness it too. 😉

Syed Rahim’s performance so far:

Against Sword Strikers:
8 runs, 5 balls (Not out)
Osmani won by 5 runs

Against Toronto Falcons:
31 runs, 14 balls (Not out)
Osmani won by 10 wickets

Against Barishal CC:
25 runs, 11 balls
Osmani won by 6 wickets

Against Sylhet Super Kings:
