📣KB PRO TIP: YOUR RACK SETUP📣⁣


Here's a quick checklist for your Rack setting.⁣


👉🏾 armpit packed (long head tricep and Lat muscle hugging)⁣

👉🏾 a vertical forearm⁣

👉🏾tip of elbow aligns over the leg⁣

👉🏾 deep hand insertion with a straight (even slightly flexed wrist⁣

👉🏾 spread the collarbone⁣

👉🏾core muscles braced & ribs pulled down⁣


A good Rack setting secures the weight to feel like a part of your body.⁣


It also helps stabilize the upper and mid spine for high tension hinge movements.⁣


Feel stronger under heavy Squats, Lunges, Good Mornings & Presses.⁣

📣KB POWER TRAINING TIP📣⁣


When it comes to ballistic Kettlebell exercises, don't hold out on your backswing.⁣


The length of your backswing in a Swing, Clean and Sn**ch can dictate how powerful and efficient your technique is.⁣


Shortening, or restricting your backswing is a great way to lose power in your hinge.⁣


This will also cause your body to take the force of the weight's momentum with little deceleration, and cause more compression on the body (especially the low back).⁣


A long & smooth backswing helps to absorb the momentum force easier, allowing you to be more balanced and powerful.⁣


A long backswing with a good spine posture helps to:⁣


👉🏾 distribute the momentum force over the entire body, especially in your strongest muscles⁣

👉🏾 create more tension under stretch in the muscles for more muscle activity and toning⁣

👉🏾 decompresses the joints (hips & shoulders especially) as length and space is created in the body⁣

💥FRIDAY BULLDOG FLOW💥⁣⁣
⁣⁣

Finished off the week in style with a 40kg Bulldog strength flow⁣


Clean + Jerk + Hang Clean + Long Push Press + Reverse Sn**ch to High Pull⁣


15 rounds over 30 minutes with Chinup sets of 4 as a superset.⁣


It's a gauntlet towards the end which makes the finish that much sweeter.⁣

💥48KG STRENGTH FLOW💥⁣


This was a battle with the Beast⁣


Dynamic tension flows are a grind from start to finish.⁣


It's a skill that takes a lot of energy to stay full body engaged for an extended period.⁣


Controlled breathing mechanics help keep your nervous system calm and focus sharp under duress.⁣


Inhale through the nose and control exhale during high points of effort (biomechanical breathing).⁣


With practice you learn to breathe deeper into the diaphragm, which helps to:⁣


🔺 increase volume of air intake during inhalation⁣

🔺 maintain core bracing and internal torso pressure⁣

🔺keep nervous system in parasympathetic (calm) state during physical stress⁣


Consistent breathing is what gets me through this ⁣

BENT PRESS + WINDMILL + REVERSE GETUP⁣


Strength, power, endurance, mobility, flexibility & resilience are all put to the test with this one.⁣


There's no better tool for the athlete⁣
