Newly updated Sweet 16 circuit, as the old one didn't hit all the muscles. Same as last time, get a Kettlebell you feel is a good weight (I'm using 30lbs here), 16 reps per set, no rest till you finish the entire circuit.
I can do 2 sets for now. How many can you do?

Thank you D'Arcy Los Strategy for the introductory workshop i Western Piper System. I can see a lot of these concepts fitting into the other stuff I do 🙏

What is commonly known as "gettin' good" have a much nobler (and in my mind more aspiring) term: Building Mastery.
Whether you spend 5 minutes or 2 hours, do something every day that will contribute to Building Mastery. This is related to the S.M.A.R.T. goals I mentioned a while ago. It's better to have a plan, but let's face it, we don't always have the spoons for that.
That's ok. Just do 5 minutes of something that will move you one step closer, make you better. All days can't be best days, but at least you did something that contributes to you building Mastery.

SMART goals are objectives that are Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-bound. This framework helps in setting clear and attainable goals, making it easier to track progress and achieve desired outcomes.

We all have bad days, that's ok. Between work, bills, life, and what's going on in the world, our worries will seep into our performance during training. But we showed up, we're still putting in the work, even if it's not our best. Tomorrow, we'll have another chance to do better.
I like to think days like those are a difficulty modifier, and a way to see how I literally perform under stress. As an added benefit, my training helps get rid of that stress, and allows me to perform better in all aspects of my life.

You can go to the gym religiously, but if you don't keep these in mind, your progress won't go far. In fact, that's a one-way ticket to injury. Give yourself the care you need.

This is something I have been struggling with almost daily for the last 6 months, even though I know better. Whether you're beginning your fitness journey or recovering from an injury (like me), it takes patience, consistency, and finding daily motivation to get to where you want to be. There will be failures, there will be setbacks, but every action you take towards your goals brings you one step closer to who you want to be. Trust the process
