Officially official! Congratulations to former captain Liam Welsh and former assistant captain Jake Todd who have both committed to the Dalhousie Tigers Men’s Hockey team for this season, joining former coach Jon Greenwood.

We have to give a big congratulations to three members of our championship team who have cracked opening night rosters in the QMJHL.

Both Austin Hoyt and Sam Berthiaume played their 16 year old season with the Bearcats, playing important minutes on our championship run proving that the Bearcats organization and MHL as a whole is a very optimal development path for young players.

For Ben Lindsay, he played two full seasons in Truro, steadily improving and turning into one of the leagues top shut down defensemen. He was counted on in tough situations in both his years with the Bearcats. Now making the jump at 19, Ben’s path shows how every path isn’t linear.

We wish these three all the best starting their season!
