I'm looking to hire some bike mechanics as the summer season is well underway in terms of bike repair! There are a few setups I'm offering for any home bike mechanics who are interested in making some money on the side. I am only looking for people with a solid bike mechanic skillset - I can work with anyone who has the basics down and am happy to train on hydraulic brake systems, wheel building and suspension systems as required. These are extraordinary times. While we all take unprecedented measures to cope with the coronavirus pandemic, we are doing the right thing by increasing our physical distancing. I’m grateful we have a chance to do our part in this emergency to protect the most vulnerable among us, and want to make sure that as a business Tuscany Bike Repair is making every effort to mitigate any further transmission of this illness.

All bike drop offs and pick ups will be done with new gloves, there will be no contact with any customers, as much as possible interactions will be brief, and all bicycles will be cleaned with an alcohol-based disinfectant capable of eliminating coronavirus before and after work is done. Pick up and drop offs continue to be free for Tuscany addresses. For rocky ridge and scenic acres addresses a $15 pick up and drop off fee will apply.

I’m encouraged by the response we’ve seen in our city, province and country to date. We have a challenging time ahead, but I’m confident Calgary will show it’s character once again as we do what is necessary to get through this challenge and become an even stronger community.
