And for those who can’t commit to the full camp, I’m opening up **ONE-DAY DROP-IN OPTIONS**!

⛸️ **Drop-In:** $35/class
🔥 **3 Classes:** $100

This is a great opportunity to get some focused work in before the season starts — improving skating technique, speed, agility, edges, and overall confidence on the ice.

**How to properly tie your skates ⛸️**

Properly tied skates can make a big difference in your child’s comfort, support, and ability to move on the ice.

Here’s how I recommend tying them:

👇 **Bottom of the skate:** Keep the laces **snug** to secure the foot in place.

👇 **Middle of the skate:** Keep the laces **slightly looser** to allow for proper ankle movement and flexibility.

🔒 **Create a lace lock:** Unlace the **first eyelet** and tuck the lace through the same side. This creates a **lace lock**, helping keep the tension secure through the lower part of the skate.

👇 **Top of the skate:** Tie this section **tight and secure** to provide the ankle support your skater needs.

The goal is a skate that feels secure and supportive while still allowing the ankle to bend and move properly.

I made this quick video using my daughter’s skates to give parents a visual of how I tie them. Hopefully this helps! 💙⛸️

One of the most common questions I get from parents is: **“How tight should my child’s skates actually be?”**

I’ll be posting a quick video soon showing parents **how to properly tie their child’s skates**—from the fit around the foot to getting the right amount of support through the ankle.

Properly tied skates can make a **huge difference in comfort, stability, and performance on the ice.**
