Had a great time last Sunday at the SOR Sprint Enduro at Alix. Plenty of competition in the older classes as a bunch of familiar faces showed up to take part in the fun.
Despite a couple minor falls I managed to place 1st in the +60 class and tired myself out…If you haven’t yet tried a sprint enduro do yourself a favour and give it a go; it’s a lot of fun!
Thanks to and all the volunteers who made this event a go.
And a shout out to .smugmug.com For all your support in keeping me on two wheels!

Great weekend racing, Saturday at Xtreme Raceways in Alix with Second Gear Club. A fast rough course that challenged my fitness. Sunday in Calgary for round 6 of the spring series. Very happy with the results.
A lot of rain and snow preceded rounds 3-4 of the Wildrose Spring series. Tracks were tuff and rough, just how I like them. Had some great starts which then help for some good finishes. The race season is now in full swing, Flow Vision Canada will be in Alix for Saturday then off to round 6 in Calgary for Sunday.
First race this season, S.O.R. In Brooks. I was expecting better, but I started to feel better near the end. Thanks to and for setting me up with an amazing bike to ride this year. Couldn’t race all year without all their support. The Flowvision team and I will be heading to Calgary next for the Spring Series this coming weekend. Come by the booth and checkout all the new goggle designs and our crazy bikes.
After racing the last 7 years in the B classes, stepped up to the As this year. First race I’ve raced with a true A loop since 1998. Well… it kicked my ass, haven’t been that tired on a bike since I struggled with the effects of COVID. 10th out off 16, not as good as I would have liked.
Had a great weekend riding, Saturday was CAMS Rocky Mountain House MX them on Sunday at McLean Creek for a Trail ride. Yes only 3.87 km in over 2 hours. So much fun. Thanks for the ride
Oh me! Oh my!!!!!
Looks at these new beauties on order.
Say hello to the new GALAXY!!
Sprint enduro racing is here in Alberta. Super fun must try if you are an off-road racer. Man I love having my own personal photographer. Thanks to for the great shots. She has lots of photos from the weekend coming shortly. Look them up .kathiissler.SmugMug.com
Love the look of the new ride!
Thanks to my sponsors: Cycle Works Red Deer, Flow Vision Canada and Stealth Graphics for all your support!
First of the new graphics installed on my Husqvarna TX300, only about 5 months to the next race. Thanks for the awesome looking kit.
New 2023 Carapaks footpegs and brake pedal tips are in! Buy both for 200.00-a great deal🤩
These will fit your new 2023 Husqvarna, KTM and Gasgas models.
And we still have foot pegs for 2017-2022s in stock…message me for more info!
Special thanks to Cycle Works Red Deer and Flow Vision Canada for setting me you with this awesome Husqvarna TX300. Next a graphics kit from Stealth Graphics, looking forward to the design from Jordan Clark.
Great to get back to racing after some time to heal. Brooks didn’t disappoint, fast, dusty and demanding.
Couldn’t be happier, first ride since Porky’s.
Guess who got to come home today?!
After 5 days in Foothills Hospital they had enough of me and I’m Kathi’s problem now😳 The damage total:
* 11 broken ribs left side. *3 broken thoracic vertebrae. * Grade 4 lacerated kidney. * Surgery to repair spleen.
Thanks so much to all of you who reached out to us during this ordeal, your kindness is so appreciated and a real boost to the spirits!
My race season may be over while everything heals but you’ll see me at the Flow Vision Canada tents-I’ll be the one in the recliner😉. Come by and see us at Xtreme Raceways in Alix this Sunday and test my reflexes!
The Porcupine Hills Cross Country was apparently a blast, according to Pete…right up until his violent get-off. As his wife I have hijacked his Instagram and Facebook to bring you an update. He has been diagnosed with 3 broken ribs, 3 compressed vertebrae which are stable and a stage-4 ruptured kidney. He is resting comfortably with good drugs and is on his way to Calgary where they’ll be keeping a good eye on him for 4 or 5 days. We will see what is to come for future treatment but for now there will be one less rider in the 50+ class!
PS: he still finished his race in 1st place and I am really proud of (and mad at)him!
Thanks everyone for checking in with us; we are so glad to be surrounded by great friends in our biking community!
Alix went as well as expected, bad starts in both +50 and +40A. Worked my way to a 3rd in +50 and was running 2nd when I called quits. Heading to Porkies this coming weekend.
After breaking my wrist at Brooks Arenacross in December…Five months of training and MX racing to prepare for this weekend. Alix, Xtreme Raceways; first round of Second Gear Club Series. Hope I’m ready.
Raced Wild Rose Super Spring Series Rounds 3-4 on the weekend. Really enjoyed the battles for positions. Pushed my limits and had a great weekend. The Flow Vision Canada Team is heading to Xtreme Raceways this coming weekend to race the first round of Second Gear Club’s Hare Scrambles Series. See you there!
Great race last weekend
Some trails are just fun!
Not the best weekend of racing for me at the Brooks Arenacross, had a small get off coming up short on the finish line jump on the third lap of practice. I had my hand checked at the clinic, nothing broken. Kathi is very impressed with a few other parts of me that are very black and blue from trying to remove the bars of my bike when I landed. Big thanks to all the sponsors and people that put on a great event.
Not all hill climbs are successful, it was more challenging than it looks.
Finally put the new graphics from in the new 22 FX350
Great way to extend the season with 10 days out on the coast for visiting and riding
Last race of the season over, thanks to all the clubs, organizers and volunteers that worked so hard putting on the races this year.
I’m not a motocrosser but I sure had fun on the track this season! Thanks Seamus Wilcox for this great photo. A big shout out to my sponsors at Cycle Works Red Deer, Slivers Custom Wood Products, Stealth Graphics and the support of my wife Kathi…and all of you who encouraged us in our start-up of Flow Vision Canada!
We appreciate you all!
Central Alberta Motocross near Alix. Having a blast racing my new 350 from check out their shop. Great people to deal with.
