Took a little vacation from horsey social media to enjoy the West Coast! Still found myself surrounded by horses in a way.

Now back to the grind. (Not the Grouse Grind, we completed that! 🎉)

A private, luxury hunter/jumper facility is preparing to welcome a limited number of boarding horses this fall.
Created for owners who value exceptional horse care, individualized management, experienced in-house trainers, and a professional training environment, this boutique stable will be accepting only a select number of clients.

17 years of owning horses. 🐴

And the first horse we got? An OTTB Thoroughbred named Rosie. 🌹

Born and raised in Kentucky, she was too slow for the track, so they tried her as a polo pony. Her drive and competitive nature just wasn’t there for the polo world, so she was thrown into a field and forgotten about. LongRun Thoroughbred Retirement Society scooped her up, and that’s how we found “Cocoria.”

She went on to be loved by a young teenager (yours truly) for several years. We ripped around cross-country fields, went camping, discovered her love for swimming, ate ice cream on horseback, and she spent summers as a camp pony getting painted, cuddled, and loved on by so many kids.

Today, Rosie is living her best life doing Western pleasure, Extreme Cowboy, trail riding, and cattle sorting. She truly found her calling.

While I sometimes wonder about the adventures we could have had together later in life, I’m so grateful she was my first horse. She taught me how to ride, but more importantly, she taught me how to be a better horse person. 💙

Major League Show Jumping Toronto is one for the equestrian media books! 🏆📸🐴

I’ve been so honoured to work this event over the past couple of years, filming the best of the best show jumpers at Angelstone Events. I mean, the number one show jumper in the world, Kent Farrington, was competing at the same venue where I rode Bana! The elite VIP experience, the incredible talent from across the country, and the celebrations throughout the week were all top tier.

It was a long but exciting week, and I can’t wait to see what they bring in 2026! 🎉

One of my all-time favourite memories of working at Angelstone Events is the Silver Series Playoffs. Everyone is so passionate about their barn family during the Nations Cup, Dance-Off Party, and, of course, the Tack Room Contest presented by Ride Every Stride Inc..

This event is always one for the history books, and I’m honoured to have captured it over the past couple of years.

Last year, my top two ideas were F1 and Pony-chella. Any guesses what it will be this year? 👀 Equine Choice

Yes, the rumours are true. I am no longer the Social Media Manager at Angelstone Events. 📱🏆🐴📸

Building up the social media for the past couple of years has truly been a milestone in my career.

Building relationships with all the horses, riders, sponsors, staff, parents, photographers, coaches, etc. has truly been the best part.

I’m so happy to have told the Angelstone Events story for all the Gold shows, all the Silver shows, and for MLSJ Toronto across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

But it’s my time now to get back to my roots of how I love to do social media. Tell stories, engage in trends, and help elevate equestrian businesses. I’ve been working very long hours at the horse shows, and I’m excited to get my creative spark back and spend my off-work hours in the saddle with Bana.

Thank you to all the incredible staff for making this experience absolutely incredible. Thank you, Keean, for trusting me with your business and allowing me to showcase it across social media. I could go on and on about the incredible team working for Angelstone Events. All your hard work truly doesn’t go unrecognized.

This isn’t goodbye, as I’ll still be at all the shows working for social media clients. I’ve shed many tears the past couple of days, knowing my journey has “jumped the last jump on course.”
