Hi, I’m Shaylene!
Movement has always been a part of my life. I grew up playing sports and have always loved being active. After having my son, my relationship with movement shifted in a really meaningful way.
Recovering from a c-section gave me a new perspective and a deep appreciation for what my body can do. It became less about pushing, and more about respecting, rebuilding, and truly appreciating my body.
Running has also been a big part of my journey. I’ve always run on and off, but since 2020 it became something more — a way to clear my head and find space for myself. Since then, I’ve completed four half marathons and ran my first full marathon in October 2025!
This path also led me to community. I met Jenna while taking her stroller fitness class, and that experience played a huge role in inspiring me to create something of my own — a space where people can come together, move, and feel supported.
That’s exactly what you can expect from my classes.
A safe space.
No matter your reason for showing up or what stage of life you’re in, I know how intimidating and overwhelming fitness classes can feel. I never want anyone to feel out of place or nervous. My classes are designed to be welcoming, inclusive, and fun.
Music is a huge part of my class experience — it guides the workout, sets the tone, and brings the energy. The better the playlist, the better the vibe, the better the workout.
I can’t wait to meet you and move together!

We will all meet at 7PM on October 30th at 5 La Mantia Ave for some stretching + mobility before our 3 or 5k run!!

Come and be part of an inclusive community of women that share similar goals + want to improve their fitness and endurance! You can do this program on your own at home or join us for in-person runs! Whether you are wanting to improve your overall health or training for a 5K, this is the program for you!
Grace & Pace is a progressive run program that will take you from never running (intentionally) to running 5km through periodized training, run/walk intervals and run specific strength training + mobility work.
Program Includes:
✅WEEKLY GROUP RUNS on Saturday mornings @ 11am for anyone local to Strathroy (Online run outline provided for anyone who will be joining us online only) All runs are progressive, starting with Week 1: run/walk intervals and ending with a full 5km run on Week 4.
✅Access to our ONLINE FITNESS APP where you will complete ONE online, run-specific Strength Training and ONE Mobility + Stretching workout per week. That’s 8 Personalized workouts a month! You can complete these workouts at home or in the gym. * Along with the workouts are 3 runs per week to do on your own time, to work yourself up to 5K! —>Each workout on our fitness app is fully guided with instructional video displays of each exercise to ensure proper form and technique. ✅Access to a PRIVATE GROUP CHAT for ongoing support, accountability, encouragement and run tips + tricks!
