Home organizing made simple. A psychology-driven process with guaranteed results.

The gathering and collecting of stuff is inherent in all of us. It’s a part of being physical beings with physical desires. However when the amount of physical things around us is more than what is essential, it can start to consume us–our time and our energies. We no longer feel free to attract what we really want.

Imagine becoming free to release all the things that you no longer wear, use, or are drawn to. Imagine all of that physical, mental, energetic space cleared out. Finally achieving the level of freedom that is inherent inside of you. Finally becoming more in harmony with who you are today.

It’s time to allow the things that are truly meant for you, to flow easily into your life experience. All it takes is setting the intention, and booking the time. DM or visit my website www.lessbutbetter.ca to inquire about a consult. I would be honoured to help you get started on your path to freedom.

Imagine our inner worlds affect our outer more directly than we think (and vice versa). When our inner self feels stressed, overwhelmed or chaotic—imagine as though it becomes directly mirrored in our home, our living spaces. Perhaps, one of the quickest hacks to bringing back inner peace, is to first take the steps to create it in our outer.

By doing the intentional work of decluttering and organizing—and not doing it alone—we create the chance to honour what’s no longer serving our current and future versions of ourselves. By choosing what stays instead of what goes, we get to take control of designing the potential landscape of our inner worlds and make space our own inner peace. ✨

My favourite system? The Outbox. 🧺

Imagine an open top, beautiful basket. Large enough to fit a basketball ball but instead filled with all the little things that are no longer serving you or fitting you. For the things that belong to others, and need to be returned. The things that you come across in your busy day and need to tuck away for later. Give them a place—an easy place—by the door. Cover with faux fur or a silk and you have a piece of decor. ☁️✨

Change is frightening, and change happens at our edges. When my clients are willing to move towards that edge of discomfort, and open up some physical space–they are almost always rewarded right away with something unexpected.

I’ve heard from clients who all of a sudden got a call about a pet they’ve been wanting for many months, a job opportunity they’ve dreamed of, a relationship they’ve been asking for, or even a dreamy life experience. Once they cleared some of their physical space–then they had the space (energetically) to receive. It may sound unreal, but it has happened enough times that I just can’t unsee it.

If you can do the uncomfortable thing to free up some of your physical space, consider what you may be able to attract into your life–whatever it is that you’ve been seeking that hasn’t been fulfilled yet. Maybe creating some space will help it come to fruition!

Everyone has mess
For our own reasons
In different moments
Transitions or seasons

Everyone has a mess somewhere—it comes with life.
Living with mess and letting others see our mess though can be difficult to deal with. However, with some grace for ourselves during busy periods and an introduction to some helpful systems and tools, we can live lighter and lessen the time it truly takes to tidy or reset.

Less but Better offers 30 min video consults risk-free to meet and talk about spaces that are frustrating for you right now. If you are interested in a quote, we also offer a one-page scope with options for the completion of your specific project!

Some days we are absolutely maxed out and can’t help but allow mess to enter our lives. The point isn’t to try and change that part of ourselves, we can’t avoid this human experience.

Instead, all we really have is the ability to surrender and have systems in place to hold the mess until we’re ready to face it. Then pull out the tools to get started when we feel ready.

The Less but Better organizing method is meant to stay with each client as a tool and as a set of individualized systems. In your back pocket to facilitate ease into those messy times. To bring clarity back fast, for when you need it most. 🤍

The biggest block I witness in clients starting a new organizing project is in the experience of not feeling comfortable around feelings of guilt or shame in the current appearance/messy state of their spaces. Even though I’ve really seen it all, and seen it much worse.

With our homes and personal spaces acting as extensions of who we are, it’s no surprise that when it isn’t how we want it, we see it as broken and then in turn, we see ourselves as broken/flawed too.

When we can move forward amidst the discomfort, not only can we start something that will help our spaces feel better, but by extension—we can help ourselves to feel better too 🤍

We wouldn’t grow if we weren’t challenged. However, the challenges don’t have to be so big and scary all the time.

We have the power to shift our thinking so taking action is no longer such a huge mountain to climb. The brain holds a lot of friction around starting a task. Some minds with the neurotype of executive dysfunction experience even more layers of friction that lead to feeling stuck.

In the end, the Less but Better model is framed around bringing in all the little tricks and tools that remove barriers like these. We create the motivation to start, and the momentum to bring it to completion.
