Who the heck likes to hear that roaring chainsaw noise? I know tons of people that hate it! So don’t let your neighbours hate you whenever you need some fire logs/wood. And don’t bother wearing ear protection because you won’t be needing it. The chainsaw is super quiet and can definitely hold its own in power and longevity per charge. Don’t feel like towing a big rv? No available dates or can’t get the dates you’d like to book at the campgrounds? Don’t like loud, partying neighbours at the campground? Well, here’s a great option for you!

Private RV campground with plenty of trees and lots of birds. Very peaceful and away from weekend warriors but very close to all the amenities you need. The campground is gated and offers boat docks, a water fountain pool for the kids to swim in and just right beside the playground. The owners are friendly. The air is definitely fresh and it is very peaceful, in general, a nice and quiet place to relax.

It is also close to beaches like Poplar beach and about 10 minutes away from Wakaw Lake Regional Park. Gas bars are about 2-5 minutes drive and about 5 minutes from the town of Wakaw if you want to buy groceries, alcohol, restaurants or if you just want to see what it has to offer.

The campsite itself has its own Saskatoon water, power and septic tank on-site. It even has its own backyard where you can park your vehicle instead of in front of the rv. Very neat and tidy with several decorations.

The rv is a 2018 Cruiser Fun Finder bought brand new in September of 2019. The rv has two double bunk beds, a sofa, dining table/kitchen, large sink, dry bath, water heater, fridge/freezer inside and a small fridge/freezer outside and a king-sized mattress in the master bedroom.

For entertainment, the rv offers an led tv, entertainment system (dvd, usb, radio, cd, aux in/out and bluetooth connection) and a video game console for those young ones and young at heart.

And when when it’s time to cook some food, you can still enjoy the outdoors because there is an outside kitchen (two burners) available and a water/sink beside it. And when it’s raining and you feel like baking some cookies for the kids, there is an oven inside. And yes, it has a stove inside as well but most people prefer cooking outside simply to avoid all the smell getting stuck inside lol!

Why book a campsite and drive several hours and why haul a 5,000-12,000 lbs rv and waste money on gas and get white knuckles while towing it when you can just rent one and not worry about all the hassle and expenses? It’s just 45-60 minutes drive from Saskatoon! So what are you waiting for? Enjoy your well-deserved staycation for cheaper and without going through all the trouble of booking, towing and the gas mileage!
