First Member Monday of 2026 is officially here! 💥
Meet , who’s brining some Irish charm and expert advice to the floor today.
🏡 Where are you from, and where have you lived?
I’m from Belfast, Ireland. I went to University in Scotland, and have lived in London & Melbourne.
💡 What inspired you to become a personal trainer?
Training has given me so much in a hugely positive way. I want to return the favour by sharing my passion for it and helping clients thrive and get the most out of their lives.
🙌 What do you enjoy most about being a personal trainer?
Being able to turn someone’s day around so they leave the gym with a massive grin on their face — as much down to my dad jokes as the training.
🏋️♂️ What’s one exercise you think everyone should do?
Everyone should learn how to hip hinge properly. We hinge every day in real life, so mastering movements like the RDL are crucial.
🚀 What’s one piece of fitness advice you live by?
Build the habit of walking through the gym door. Every session doesn’t need to be perfect.
✨ What’s a fun fact about you that most people don’t know?
I love serving drinks in an apron — long story lol.
Make sure to say hi next time you see Jamie at the gym! 👋

Let’s get to know our member of the week
🏡 Where are you from and where have you lived?
From Ukraine. 🇺🇦
Lived in Lithuania, Bulgaria, USA.
✨ What inspired you to become a personal trainer?
The why behind my back aches. I saw lots of doctors in different countries, and all of them had given me different answers. So, I decided to figure it out myself. As I learn and continue seeking help from professionals, I got a lot of insight into my question. I am here because I wish the trainers that I worked with knew what I know.
🏋️ What’s one exercise you think everyone should do?
A hanging core exercise.
🏃♀️ What’s your favorite way to stay active outside the gym?
Cycling, volleyball.
🤫 What’s a fun fact about you that most people don’t know?
I got kicked by a wild moose.

💬 What do you enjoy most about being a personal trainer?
I enjoy my job overall, but I’d say I love connecting with people and hearing their stories the most! It makes their goals even more rewarding, and I love that I get to work with each client’s individual goals and progress that is catered to them.
📺 What’s your favorite TV show or movie at the moment?
Guilty to be on The Summer I Turned Pretty fanclub, lol.

🏝️ Where are you from, and where have you lived?
Christchurch, New Zealand. 🇳🇿
💪 What inspired you to become a personal trainer?
My experiences being trained by strength & conditioning coaches in professional cricket squads.
💭 What’s one piece of fitness advice you live by?
Fitness shouldn’t be complicated. The real issue is most people simply don’t move enough. Start small and just move more. From there shift towards training movement: focus on good positions, gradual loading, and developing your body’s capacity.
🎸 What’s a fun fact about you that most people don’t know?
I used to play guitar in a band that opened for international acts like INXS and Slash (Guns N’ Roses) in front of thousands of people. These days, I’ve swapped the stage for the camera as a part-time YouTuber (like and subscribe!).
🏏 When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?
An international cricket player for New Zealand.

Let’s get to know 🙌
🏡 Where are you from, and where have you lived?
I was born in a little village called Fruitvale and moved to Vancouver as soon as I graduated.
🏋️ What’s one exercise you think everyone should do?
I think some sort of balance exercise. Watching people in my own life struggle with balance really opened my eyes. It’s not just about preventing falls, it’s about staying independent and confident as we age.
✨ What inspired you to become a personal trainer?
When I was younger, I was a late bloomer. I was 4’8” forever, with glasses and braces and I got picked on a lot. Once I started working out, I felt stronger and more confident. I thought by working out, I wouldn’t be such an easy target anymore. That shift stuck with me and now I love helping people find their version of confidence through fitness. Whether that’s standing up to bullies, keeping up with their grandkids, or looking good on the beach ;)
💪 What’s one piece of fitness advice you live by?
The only bad workout is the one that didn’t happen.
