Came in with no expectations and left with a nice gold medal in the Mixed D Final 🥇☺️. Thanks to 🥈Reach It Out Dragons,🥉Creakside Dragons, , Twist ‘n Trout, and for pushing us in the final! All things considered, really proud of how we did and it can only go up from here. Thanks to Phnom Penh for the bottomless chicken wings (jk, but one can dream 🤤).

In an unannounced amendment to regulation CR 3.1 (detailing crew numbers and composition), the International Dragon Boat Federation has seemingly renamed “Drummer(s)” to “Aura Farmer(s).”
Citing the IDBF Competition Regulation & Rules of Racing - Edition 9.1 - Part 1. COMPETITION REGULATIONS, they state: “for the Standard Racing Boat (DB22) in competition, a minimum of eighteen (18) and a
maximum of twenty (20) Paddlers; one (1) Steerer and one (1) Aura Farmer.” This amendment is effective starting April 1, 2026 🙂

We also took part in the 2K which was, for many of us, our first time doing any race longer than 500m. We gave it our all, and had a lot of fun in the process!
