Thank you to all our loyal customers for your patience as we have all tried to navigate these challenging times due to Covid-19.

Our foremost concern continues to be protecting the health and safety of our staff, our customers and the general public. To this end we will continue to respond to the ever-evolving situation.

For now we are happy to say that, subject to further notice, we will be open for service Thursday/Friday/Saturday, from 10-6. Call us at 604-714-0171 or come by during open hours and knock on the door to be admitted.

Sales will be over-the-phone only for hard goods (no soft goods sales at this point for health and safety reasons) for curb side pickup.

We are doing our best to help you keep your rides on the road so we can all stay healthy through these unprecedented times.

Following the most recent announcements from the federal government, Speed Theory will not be re-opening to the general public for the immediate future. We encourage everyone to follow the PM's recommendation to stay at home for all but essential business.

We will not be answering the phones, but we will be checking and returning messages regularly.

We will also be continuing to repair bikes currently in the shop, as well as build bikes already purchased, so that we can return them to our valued customers as soon as possible.

We will not be accepting any new repairs at this time. We will keep you updated as this quickly-changing situation evolves.

Thank you in advance for your understanding in these unprecedented times. Please remember, we are all in this together!

In these remarkable and quickly changing times we want to let our customers know that our top priority at Speed Theory is protecting the health of our staff, our customers and the general public. To that end, the store remains open for now, subject to government advisories, but we will not be accepting bike fit appointments for the near future, so as to be able to maintain appropriate social distancing measures.

If your bike is already here and scheduled for repairs, rest assured we will do everything in our power to get it fixed and back to you. We are still trying to determine whether we will be able to book appointments for future repairs. Stay tuned for further updates.

Speed Theory Group Ride 65km

Come and join us on the Speed Theory group ride on August 22nd lead by CrossRoad Racing members. This will be a “No Drop” group ride for people of all abilities starting at 9:00am from Speed Theory on 4th Ave. We will change things up and find some flat road behind UBC and River Road in Richmond, then finish at Speed Theory. The main goal of the ride this weekend is to work on general group riding skills (rotating through the paceline) and etiquette.
Please review the documents, “Rider Code of Conduct” and show up with a signed copy of the “Speed Theory Group Ride Waiver” if this is the first time out.
