Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives.

🌾 Celebrate Ukrainian Harvest Traditions with Us! 🇺🇦
Dance Ensemble UKRAЇNA is delighted to invite you to two special community celebrations made possible through the generous support of the West Vancouver Community Foundation and the Richmond Cares, Richmond Gives.
This year, we are celebrating Obzhynky—the traditional Ukrainian Harvest Festival.
Obzhynky is one of Ukraine's oldest and most cherished traditions. For generations, it marked the completion of the wheat harvest and was a time for communities to come together in gratitude for nature's abundance, celebrate the fruits of hard work, and share joyful moments with family, friends, and neighbours. Filled with music, dancing, songs, and festive gatherings, Obzhynky reminds us of the importance of community, appreciation, and preserving our cultural heritage.
We are especially grateful that the wonderful Ukrainian choirs Malvy and Spivanochka will be joining us to make these celebrations even more memorable.
✨ Everyone is welcome to enjoy:
🌻 Ukrainian harvest songs and folk dancing
🌻 Interactive workshops for children and adults
