To avoid late night snacking… I make a cup of bone broth. Use YUKA to get the best quality. 50 cals/cup keeps you within fasting state 🙌🏼

On this weeks substack. I talk about a personal nightly routine that is a game changer in how I sleep, how my body feels the next day and how my body recovers. Try it… it’s easy and next to free. Costco has the best deal on Epson salt.

Every night, I look forward to my bath.

It’s my little moment to slow down, let go of the day, soothe my nervous system, and reconnect with myself.

It’s more than a bath — it’s how I unwind, reset, and pour a little love back into me. ✨

A little fun in the gym. My double trouble ladies KW & Paula A Jerez

Look at the control and speed of the exercises. We move with intention connecting with the muscles that we are working 💪

MENTAL HEALTH DAY is today, Oct 10th. Let us support eachother and drop any stigma, judgement or shame around not being ok.

Mental health is a big deal to me because I’ve had my own experiences with mental health struggles, I’ve witness others go through rock bottoms, as so many of us have. It’s part of life. We are all dealing with our own struggles. I know how important it is to feel supported, to slow down, and to give ourselves permission to not be okay all the time.

We spend so much energy taking care of our life’s duties, showing up for others, working, and keeping everything together. But what about taking care of what’s happening inside?

I believe caring for our mental health deserves just as much attention as caring for our physical health. It’s not a weakness. It’s part of being human.

Sometimes, we don’t need to fix everything. We just need a moment to pause, reconnect with ourselves, and breathe.

🌿 For Mental Health Day, I’m gifting FREE guided breathwork online sessions. 1:1 or if you and a friend/loved one want to come together. They’ll be hosted on Zoom and 30 mins long.

A little space to slow down, release some tension, and come back to yourself. From the comfort of your own home, wrapped in a blanket, with nowhere else to be.

No experience needed. Just you, your breath, and a little time for yourself.

💌 DM me your email to set up your free session.

Let’s keep talking about mental health, keep showing up for ourselves and each other, and remember that we don’t have to navigate everything alone.

Take a breath. You deserve it. 🤍

I stopped eating bread a long time ago and my body feels so good BUTTTTT I crave it… so this is THE BEST ‘substitute’.

You’re welcome.

I use the app YUKA to check all things that go in me and on me (that have barcodes 😉) it’s FREE go to your App Store and start scanning.

I’m THAT person in the store scanning items before I buy them. It’s educational and SOOOO worth it. First we learn and then we can make our own choice.

Building muscle isn’t just about working harder—it’s about giving your body the stimulus, fuel, and recovery it needs to adapt. 💪

1. STRENGTH TRAINING
Train at least 2x/week and challenge your muscles with enough resistance while maintaining proper form. Progressive overload is what tells your body: we need to get stronger.

2. PROTEIN
Aim for 30–50g per meal and enough protein across the day to support muscle repair and growth. A commonly used target for active people pursuing muscle growth is around 2.2g/kg of body weight.

3. SLEEP + RECOVERY
Aim for 7–9 hours/night. Your workout is the stimulus—the recovery is where your body actually rebuilds. You want to be recovered and ready before hitting the same muscles hard again.

Train hard. Fuel well. Rest fully.
That’s how you build muscle. ✨

Need support? I have mid day Tues & Thurs spots open 📍 8th & Cambie private gym.
