At the 2026 RBC JCC Sports Dinner, the spirit of generosity was on full display during our Support-A-Cause (SAC) campaign, sponsored by VELA Wealth and Harness Investment Management.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the many donors who stepped up and raised their bid card. Your support directly helps ensure that children of all ages, abilities, backgrounds, and financial circumstances can access programs and experiences offered at the Jewish Community Centre of Greater Vancouver — from camps and sports to arts, education, and inclusive recreational opportunities.

Your contribution helps fund scholarships and subsidies so that every child has the opportunity to learn, explore, build confidence, and thrive in a safe and welcoming environment.

The 2026 RBC was nothing short of extraordinary! From the energy in the room to the generosity on display, we are so grateful to everyone who joined us, supported us, and helped make the evening such a powerful success. Together we raised $1.35 million and counting! 🙌

Very special thanks to: our incredible event emcee, Al Murdoch, whose voice and presence set the tone for the evening; our legendary live auctioneer, Howard Blank who once again brought the hype that helped us raise important funds for community programming; our astute moderator Ashton Lawrence who directed the conversation with leadership and passion; and our featured guest speaker, Steve Nash, who shared valuable time, insight, and inspiration with all of us. 🙏
