I’ve been playing around with Daz 3D Studio. I’m starting to see some improvement to my renders. If you’ve never tried it before it’s worth looking into. Daz Studio is free software that you can use to make cool artwork for your own backgrounds, fan art, or just something you come up with at random lol

With my big surgery day looming, there was nothing more important to me than to celebrate this amazing woman I get to call my wife for her birthday. It’s been the year from hell but made potable by this angel of mine. Happy early birthday you are my everything! For those who might be keeping score, 2019 has had our number this year. Starting off the year with my cancer diagnosis and the subsequent fight that is ongoing, to multiple animal deaths within our extended family, to job losses for both my brother-in-law and most recently my wife. That’s not to say there haven’t been any ups, it just so happens that for every up we cling on to they are outnumbered by the downs 3-1 in either volume or severity. I truly hope that on January 1, 2020 we can finally say goodbye to this year from literal hell! Thank you so very much to our friends and family for being there for us through all of this so far, we could NOT have done it without you!

Just finished my second book recreation. This is for a friend who helped my family and myself when I was first diagnosed with Cancer by taking care of my kids so we can get things figured out.

Here is my most recent delivery. A family name sign and leather wrist cuff as a wedding anniversary gift. I am very happy with how this turned out and it was received very well! I love commission work!

Front cover burning is done and I think it turned out pretty good. 😁 Now for the spine...tomorrow maybe, it’s been 6.5 hours of work on this already today from shaping the wood to what you see here.

Burn is coming along nicely. Should end up looking ok 🙂 Fine lines going against the grain with a small tip are not fun to get straight...lol
