Your thoracic spine, the middle part of your back, often gets overlooked. But it’s key to how you move, breathe, and even sit through your day.
Here’s why we focus on it:
💨 Better Breathing: A stiff T-spine limits your rib cage expansion, making deep breaths harder. Improve mobility, and your lungs can fully open thus enhancing oxygen flow and calming your nervous system.
🏋️ Movement Efficiency: From lifting weights to reaching overhead, a mobile T-spine allows smoother, safer movement and reduces strain on your shoulders and lower back.
💻 Everyday Benefits: Sitting at a desk or scrolling on your phone? T-spine mobility prevents rounded shoulders, reduces tension, and improves posture so you feel taller, lighter, and more aligned.
💡 Tip: Incorporate gentle thoracic rotations, foam rolling, or stretches daily. Even a few minutes can make a huge difference for your breath, movement, and overall energy.
Your armour isn’t just strength, it’s mobility, breath, and awareness combined. Strengthen it from the inside out. ✨

Give Yourself Time to Breathe – Like You Do in the Gym 🏋️♀️
When we train in the gym, we know the value of reps. We don’t rush through them; we give each one proper attention, form, and focus. Each rep builds strength, resilience, and endurance over time.
Breathwork is no different. Giving yourself the time to breathe fully,,intentionally, and consistently trains your body and nervous system. Over weeks and months, this isn’t just relaxation; it’s transformation.
• More oxygen to your muscles → better performance.
• Lowered stress → clearer focus and better recovery.
• Stronger connection between mind and body → improved posture, movement, and presence.
The difference? Breathing is the rep you do all day, every day. The more mindful reps you take, the stronger and more resilient you become inside and out.
Start small. Give yourself a few dedicated minutes a day. Think of it like sets in the gym you’ll notice the gains over time. 💪

Your breath shapes your movement.
Your movement shapes your strength.
When we combine mobility drills with nasal breathing, we don’t just loosen up we:
👃 Calm the nervous system
💨 Improve oxygen + endurance
🦴 Build strength in new ranges
This is how we train resilience from the inside out.
⚡ Inner Armour is on Thursday @ 6.30pm come breathe, move, and feel the difference. DM to join or click the link in my bio.
See you there 🥰

Most people breathe high into their chest when they’re stressed. That keeps the nervous system in “fight or flight” mode, even when nothing’s wrong.
👉 Try this reset:
• Inhale gently through your nose for 4
• Hold for 2
• Exhale slowly through your nose for 6
• Repeat x5 rounds
This shifts your body into rest + recovery mode, lowers tension, and helps you feel more grounded.
Your breath is your armour. Train it daily.

Your breath is your armour. Training yourself to use your nose (especially at rest, during sleep, and in low–moderate exercise) is one of the simplest ways to boost performance, recovery, and resilience.
👃 Nasal breathing helps your body use oxygen more efficiently, calms your nervous system, and builds real endurance from the inside out. It’s like giving your body a natural filter + performance boost.
👄 Mouth breathing, on the other hand, often leads to shallow chest breathing, quicker fatigue, and higher stress levels. Over time, it can even impact sleep, recovery, and posture.
💡 Want to feel the difference? On your next walk, close your mouth and just breathe through your nose. Notice your heart rate, your focus, and even your mood shift.
Your breath is your armour. Train it, and it will protect you. 🛡️

During the session I explain what functional breathwork is, the different methods that can be used for different situations i.e if you need to up regulate or down regulate your nervous system. We go through both types of breathwork so you are equipped with new tools to handle daily stresses.
The specific mobility we practice is directly related to the breathing mechanics and will help aid more efficient breathing and improve posture and overall movement.
There is lots of questions that come up throughout the session that turn into a great and open conversation.
It’s really a time to learn how you can simply connect with yourself and give yourself the power to change how you respond to stressful situations.
Excited to see you all there this evening 🥰
