We are excited to welcome you back to campus! This year, we will be having both in-person and online practices on the following days:
Mondays: 7pm - 9pm (Online on our discord server)
Tuesdays: 6:30pm - 8:30pm (In-person in HEBB room 114)

NOTE: Masks must be worn during the in-person meetings and according to provincial and AMS orders, we will be required to check that all attendees are vaccinated with at least one dose until October 24, after which two doses will be required.

UBC Quizbowl is planning on sending team(s) to the ACF Fall Quizbowl tournament at the University of Washington on Saturday, November 2. This is one of the tournaments that we regularly attend each year, in which we face off against teams from Washington, Oregon, and Idaho. We usually travel down to Seattle as a team and stay one or two nights.
If you have any interest in attending the tournament, please fill out this google form. The form is to gauge interest, so filling it out is not a commitment to attending the tournament. If you have any other questions regarding the tournament, please let me know. We will also be talking more about the tournament during practice this week.

Our Quizbowl Introductory Tournament will be taking place tomorrow, September 28, starting at 10am in Neville Scarfe room 202. For those of you who haven't heard about the tournament, it is a start-of-year tournament for people to get experience playing in a Quizbowl tournament setting.

Hey everyone! We hope you've had a restful summer. We are excited to announce that we will have our first practice of the year next week!

We'll have lots of snacks, and new and returning players are all welcome to join in and play some trivia in the Quizbowl format. We are looking forward to meeting you all there to kick off the season!
Over the rest of the semester, we will practice Quizbowl weekly, attend pub trivia events around Vancouver, and compete in several tournaments against other schools. Please feel free to message us at any time if you have any questions about Quizbowl.
