We're extremely pleased to recognize our own Jim Gibson as he received the Hudlin Family Long Time Service Award today, awarded to an umpire who has given countless hours in the spirit of Little League Baseball.

Jim, pictured here with Barbara Hudlin and his wife Audrey, has given, and continues to give, an incredible amount of time as an on-field umpire, evaluator, instructor, and mentor to our District staff and youth umpires all over the City.

Great crew this afternoon for the Major Baseball tournament final for this May long weekend at Beacon Hill Baseball & Softball Association - (L to R): Jim, Logan, Liam, and Jimmy - great work and thanks for being out there today!

Some of our BC District 7 Baseball & Softball umpires were in action yesterday at Central Saanich Little League for a Junior baseball game - (L to R) Logan, Gareth, Cory, and Joe took advantage of the great weather to practice working a four-umpire crew before they all head off to Regional or World Series tournaments this summer!

Join us May 15–17 at Ambassador Park for a full weekend of baseball, competition, and community featuring 10 teams from across the region. From the All-Star Competition to Championship Sunday, it’s going to be an incredible weekend at the ballpark.
