Dear Friends and Valued Customers,

As many of you know, e-CycleVictoria has been more than just a business to me—it has been a passion, a way to connect with our community, and a chance to help people discover the joy and freedom of eBikes.

After 5 successful years of running this business, I’ve decided it’s time for me to retire. This wasn’t an easy decision, but just like every good eBike ride, there comes a time to pause, reflect, and take a new path. I plan to finish up before the end of this calendar year. I still have several conversion kits available, so if you've been considering getting this work done, now is the time.

I want to sincerely thank all of you—our loyal customers, friends, and supporters—who have trusted e-CycleVictoria over the years. Whether you bought a system, had a conversion or repair done, or simply shared your enthusiasm for cycling with me, you’ve helped make this business what it is today. I am deeply grateful.

At this time, I don’t yet have a transition plan in place, but I would love to see e-CycleVictoria continue to serve the community. If any of you—or someone you know—might be interested in taking over a well-established local business with a strong reputation and customer base, I would be happy to have that conversation.

For now, I’ll simply say thank you. Thank you for supporting me, for supporting local, and for sharing the ride.

It's very satisfying bringing an old bike back to life again. This beauty Trek 4300 had been hanging out in a garage for several years and has now been transformed into a lightweight and nimble eBike.

It's a nicely equipped bike that features 26" wheels with new Schwalbe Marathon eBike rated tires. These tires are puncture resistant to begin with, and I've also filled the new tubes with FlatOut which should keep it rolling for years without a flat. Brand new 8-speed drivetrain and all new brake and shifter cables.

It's powered by a Bafang BBS02b mid-drive coupled with a 52V 20Ah battery that will easily provide this bike with well over 100kms of range. Some nice highlights include the Lekkie OneNut and Lekkie Bling Ring 40T chain ring.

Cool photo of a bike e-E-Cycle Victoria recently converted for my client Brian. He has it all set up for bike packing. His bike is a Norco Indy featuring a wide-range 8-speed drivetrain, hydraulic disc brakes, and tubeless tires.

The motor is a Bafang BBS02b 750w with a 52v 20Ah Samsung battery. Should give him a range of 100+ kms.

Got a second Father's Day bike built today. These Townies are one of my favourite bikes to build. It features an 8-speed Shimano Nexus Internally Geared Hub which offers low maintenance, and the ability to shift gears while stopped. This innovative frame build offers the rider an upright comfortable seating position with your feet slightly forward while pedaling, allowing you to place both feet on the ground when stopped. Balloon tires make this a very comfortable ride.

This bike is mated to a BBS02b mid-drive motor along with a Samsung-based 20Ah 52V battery for a full day of riding. Beauty bike and this one is going to be hard to hand over to her new owner.
