touchtennis™ is a new sport created in England in 2003 and is now expanding to Canada. It’s adrenaline pumping and it’s here in Victoria... Quiet please?
Inspired by Tennis, it follows the same basic rules played on a smaller court. Speed of mind, understanding of your rival’s weakness and exquisite touch count far more than physical strength and power. Outmaneuvering your opponent is more effective than trying to out hit them. The sport is suitable for any tennis player or rackets sport enthusiast. The games addictiveness comes mainly from the way
it “levels the field” amongst different players. The ingenious design of the interaction between racket-ball-surface-court dimensions allows for longer rallies and putting the ball away sometimes seems impossible! However, don’t be fooled into thinking that this is a game for kids, fitness is and consistency are important factors. touchtennis™ Canada
Following it’s huge success in the UK, touchtennis™ is now launching in Canada. Tournaments provide tennis players with the opportunity to test themselves in a fast-paced, adrenaline filled and competitive environment against a high volume of opponents of similar standard in half day events.

Tournament format
Tournaments commence with a round robin group stage. Each match lasts min 10 minutes, providing each player with a guaranteed amount of on-court competition time. Each Tournament lasts 4 hours. Scoring
Players attempt to amass as many points as possible in each match before the buzzer sounds for the next match, meaning that every point counts and time wasting is a self defeating tactic. The group winners advance to the final stages where they play a knock out format to decide the champion.
2nd Chance
Players that are eliminated at the group stage, have the opportunity to continue playing in a fun doubles event run in parallel to the final stages of the singles, further increasing your court time. Unlike other tournaments, there is no going home after one match at a touchtennis™ tournament, instead the emphasis is on maximizing on-court and competition time for every player. Playing Standard
Tournaments are graded in line with Tennis Canada’s ratings system to ensure everyone plays at the relevant level. Locations
