Back in July, three Varsity Belmont Bulldogs proudly represented Team BC at the 2026 Football Canada Cup in Winnipeg, Manitoba! 🧡🖤🏈

Jacob Hansen, QB, Jagger Jenkins, LB, and Andrew Bayne, OL competed against some of the top U18 football talent from across the country on the national stage.

Team BC opened the tournament against Ontario, with the game cut short due to extreme heat and ending 24–3.

They bounced back with a huge 41–10 win over New Brunswick in wet and rainy conditions, with QB Jacob Hansen leading the offence in the victory.

Team BC then closed out the tournament with an 18–8 win over host Team Manitoba to secure 5th place overall in Canada, with Jagger Jenkins earning Defensive Player of the Game honours in the final. 🔥

A huge accomplishment for all three athletes and an incredible opportunity to represent both Belmont and British Columbia at the national level.

So proud of our Dawgs: Jacob, Jagger and Andrew! 🧡🖤
