Open Floor Victoria

Happy Autumn everyone! At this point, I am not planning any events for the fall, but this may change as other projects wind up. My heart wants to offer group Therapy in Motion in the near future. In Therapy in Motion we place the moving body at the center of the therapeutic process. We integrate relational approaches, attachment theory and practice, trauma work, emotions and cognition into an embodied movement exploration for richer therapeutic outcomes.

As we uncover our collective darkness and learn to look at it with a clear eye, it becomes apparent that this is the Dark Night of the Soul for humanity. In the Bhagavad Gita, where reference to the Dark Night of the Soul originally appears, it invites us to purge all illusions, especially those that we have developed through our senses and our attachments.

So, here is an inquiry question that you might sit with, walk with and dance with: What illusions can I let go of?

The movement meditation series will not be held on Friday night, May 1st as we are still social distancing. However, here is a way you can do it from home with Lori Saltzman & Kathy Altman, two of my wonderful teachers.

Open Floor is a dance practice, a high-spirited moving meditation done in the company of others. We are based in Marin County, California, but teach all around the world.

This is the time to truly watch our thoughts - as manifestation is now in the quantum field. Envision peace. Radiate love. Appreciate all the time we now have.

When we can be together, we will cherish that.
