We teach group and private dance lessons for adults and kids. We also enjoy teaching Hustle, Merengue and other social dances.

We focus on Ballroom and Latin dances, such as Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep, ChaCha, Samba, Rumba, and Jive. Victor Golubkov is a professional dance teacher with over 30 years of international ballroom dance and performance experience. Congratulations to all dancers who competed at Island Fantasy Ball in Nanaimo last weekend!

VBDS had ten couples competing, including five newcomer couples! Thank you to VBDS instructor, Victor Golubkov, for preparing your newcomer students.

A big thank you to all of the volunteers of Nanaimo Ballroom Dance Society and DanceSport BC who organized another wonderful competition for the dance community.
