What is the best part about being on the Row Ontario Board of Directors? It takes a lot of people working together to support any initiative. A lot of people volunteered their time and energies to make rowing a wonderful experience for our kids, and for my husband. I wanted to support that experience for others. I am not a coach or a rower, and after many years being a rowing ‘mom’, then becoming an umpire, it is a way that I can support the sport in a way that is within my skillset. Through the journey of rowing that I share with my husband, we have met terrific people and made lifelong friends #RowOn
