I spent years thinking I had to earn the right to become the woman I wanted to be.

For most of my life, I believed effort was how you became the person you wanted to be.

Work hard. Grow. Become capable. Prove yourself.

What I never realized was that I had applied the same rule to my identity.

More confidence first. More healing first. More certainty. More proof.

As though eventually I would have enough evidence to say, Okay. This is who I am now.

But what if we have some of that backwards?

What if you decide who you want to be, and then start making choices that match?

That made me think about something else too.

The stories I have repeated about myself for years:

I am too sensitive.
I am not confident.
I am too old to start again.
I am just the kind of person who...

The words that follow “I am” matter.

Repeat something about yourself for long enough and you start looking for proof that it is true.

And some of those stories may not have started with you at all.

Someone criticized you.

A relationship changed how you saw yourself.

You were given a label when you were young.

You became who you needed to be at the time.

So instead of asking:

“How do I become someone new?”

I have been sitting with a much better question:

Which parts of who I think I am are actually true now, and which stories am I ready to stop carrying?

And questioning the stories you have believed about yourself is really only the beginning.

It is one of the things I’m exploring inside Inner Bloom this month, and I already know this one is going to stay with me.

Who have you been saying you are? 🌸

Self-love is realizing that feeling seen is only the beginning.🌸

You became so good at taking care of everyone else that you stopped knowing what you even need.

You learned to stay strong, keep the peace, carry the load, question yourself, push through exhaustion, or become whatever the people around you needed.

And eventually you start wondering:
Where did I go?

You are the woman Inner Bloom is for.

After years of caregiving, relationships, motherhood, responsibility, heartbreak, emotional exhaustion, people-pleasing, and putting yourself last, you may not even know what you want anymore.

Inner Bloom gives you a place to reconnect with the parts of yourself that got pushed aside:

🌸 self-worth and self-trust
🌸 identity and knowing yourself again
🌸 relationships and the patterns you keep repeating
🌸 emotional healing and nervous-system support
🌸 spirituality, intuition and reconnecting with yourself
🌸 wellness, money and personal growth
🌸 community with women doing this work too

Inside, you’ll find 70+ coaches and healers, workshops, courses, practices and a community of women who are figuring some of this out too.

But the heart of it is simple:
Inner Bloom Becoming is not about becoming someone new.
It is about returning to who you always were.

If you have spent years being everything for everyone and you are ready to start figuring out what you want, need, and believe, comment BLOOM and I’ll send you a look inside. 🌸

Self-love is realizing you were never too much. You were just around people who were more comfortable when you were less. 🌸

For years, it can feel safer to soften the parts of yourself that seem to make other people uncomfortable.

Keep the opinion to yourself. Hold back the emotion. Question your intuition. Tone down your strength. Try not to care quite so deeply.

After a while, you can forget that none of those things were ever the problem.

Your empathy, sensitivity, faith, humour, strength, opinions, and voice are part of who you are. 💫

The real shift happens when you stop measuring yourself by how easy you are for other people to understand, agree with, or keep happy.

You begin trusting what you feel instead of immediately questioning it. Speaking without rehearsing every word becomes easier, and the need to make yourself smaller starts losing its grip.

The right people will not need a watered-down version of you in order to stay.
They will recognize the real you and make room for all of her. 🫶🏼✨

What part of yourself are you DONE making smaller for other people? 🌸
