A folder full of drills is not a development plan.

→ what needs to be corrected first
→ which cue will actually make sense to the athlete
→ when to slow the movement down
→ when to add speed
→ how to train reaction and decision-making
→ whether the skill transfers when the game gets messy

The basics still matter. They’re the foundation.

But the offseason is where we build beyond them—sharpening mechanics, increasing speed, improving reaction time, and preparing athletes to execute under pressure.

That’s the missing space between knowing where an athlete is and knowing how to get them where they want to go.
