I'm so excited to almost be done this cardigan. Just a bit left on the back.

This one is knit using 2 strands of yarn at a time, making the cardigan heavier and really good for the colder weather. I want to be able to wear it more like a coat.

I'm debating still whether or not to add pockets. I will decide once I sew it up.

Sitting outside right now enjoying the sunshine and having coffee. I hope everyone is enjoying their day.

My project pile. These are all sweaters I rotate between pretty much on a daily basis.

I work on them during lunch breaks, before supper and at night watching TV. A couple are near completion and some are only getting started. Having multiple projects on the go reduces the chances of me getting bored working on just one. However, it doesn't usually stop me from casting on something new! Lol!

It's Friday today, so cheers to the weekend. I hope you have set aside some time for yourself to knit.

I decided to make myself a River Rocks Swoncho with my new yarn.

The seed stitch really helps to soften the stripes - blends the colours more. And can we talk about the texture? 😍 Wow!

For the River Rocks Swoncho I used 2 strands of Aran weight yarn. Since this yarn is thicker, I'm only using 1 strand and larger needles, so I adjusted the number of stitches I started with.

I'm excited to see this take shape. Hopefully it will be done for when the weather gets cooler

I've started on the back of this cardigan for a friend. She's going on vacation next week, so I'm planning on having it finished for when she returns. 🤞

I also have 4 other sweaters I'm knitting! 🙄

I don't think I've had so many WIPs in a long time. 😁 I'm trying not to buy any new yarn, because I have a box full of yarn still with projects in mind.

It's Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada, so Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian friends.

The Caron Latte Cakes are SO soft!! I'm loving the soft pastel colours. Not what I usually wear, but I couldn't resist how pretty they are!
