Arosa Classic Car 2026 may be over, but the experience doesn’t have to end there.

So why do people keep coming back to Arosa ClassicCar ?

It’s easy to say it’s because of the cars, the racing or the mountain.

But after spending four days there and speaking to some of the people behind the event, it became clear that there’s more to it.

Sophie, who works in tourism and marketing for Arosa, told us that many of the drivers come back every year. They know each other, look forward to seeing each other again, and have become “like a little family.”

Claudia, one of the drivers we spoke to, said something very similar.

For her, Arosa feels different from the longer rallies she has taken part in. It may be shorter, but it gives people the chance to meet again, catch up and enjoy the experience together.

There’s still competition, of course.

But it isn’t only about who finishes first or second.

Beyond that, it’s about the people you meet, the stories you hear and the feeling of being part of something that brings you back year after year. 😊

And then there’s what happens after the event itself.

People experience Arosa. They share their experience.
The team shares those moments again like a full circle.
And suddenly, someone who wasn’t even there gets to see a little piece of what happened on and off the race track.

That’s what makes an event like this worth documenting.

The race ends.

But the stories, connections and unforgettable memories can keep going long after everyone has driven back down the mountain. 🏁 With that… we’re so excited for next year, Arosa Classic Car! 🏎️

Be right back, I’m at📍Arosa Classic Car 😉

You always hear me talking about careers, CVs and professional transitions.

But there’s one thing I’m also quite familiar with… cars. 🚗

Not because I’m a car expert myself, but because cars have been my husband .chira ‘s passion (and his bread and butter) for several years.

So being at Arosa ClassicCar 2026 felt quite special.

And the more I watched, the more I realised that this event isn’t really just about the cars. It’s about the people.

The leadership and organising team who bring Arosa ClassicCar to life year after year.

The volunteers and everyone working behind the scenes to make the 7.3 km route, with its 76 bends, possible.

And, of course, the drivers.

Many of them return year after year, bringing their cars, their stories and their passion back to Arosa.

And I think that’s what makes Arosa what it is.

Every driver brings something different. A different car.
A different story. A different connection to the event.

And when you put all of that together, you get something much bigger than a car race.

It actually reminded me of something I see all the time in my work.

Behind every career is a person.

And behind every CV is a story.

Your experience, your choices, the things you’ve learned, the turns you’ve taken along the way… all of these things shape where you are today and where you might want to go next.

So yes, I’ll keep talking about CVs and careers.

But for the next little while, I’m also going to be talking about the people, cars and stories that make Arosa ClassicCar so special.

I’m Adelina, your career coach and here’s more to come from Arosa. 📷🏁☺️

One of the things I would look at when someone wants to change careers is their background.

Because it really depends.

What did you do before?
What kind of environment did you work in?
What skills did you develop there?

For example, if you worked in engineering, we may look at your analytical mindset, results orientation, solution focus and problem-solving.

If you worked in a global setting, then intercultural awareness, leadership and collaboration may also be part of what you bring.

So when you’re changing direction, don’t just look at the job title.

Look at the skills underneath it.

Because those are often much more transferable than you realise.

And that’s where we start to translate your experience into the new context.

If you’re new here, I’m Adelina! ⭐️ I help expats and professionals with integration, personal branding, CV writing, job search and career transition in Switzerland. Follow me for more if you found this valuable. :)
