Many have tried to copy him, but even after over 33 years, he is still the champion of all champions. We all remember how these gentlemen of the “Arte Suave” dominated his opponents, undoubtedly being in absolute control of the entire situation. And not just in one match – he dominated everyone until the very end.

This is some great coverage by “Cinturón Negro” (Budo International) from back in the day. I wanted to share it with you because I have just returned from another training session with Master Royce at the Gracie Academy in Torrance.
He knows that he has helped me to grow in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu more than anyone else has. Every private session with him formed the foundation of my Gracie Jiu-Jitsu, and even today, I can't wait to step back onto the tatami under his guidance.
You should take the opportunity to participate in the next SOHA Royce Gracie Training Camp in Cyprus, where we will have the unique opportunity to train with the Master of Arte Suave himself and experience this great fighter and person at his best. He really is a living legend, and I owe him a lot.
