Yoga once confined to an exclusive sector is now opened out to the common man's reach by Guruji.
In admiration to his contribution, students have coined a term "Iyengar Yoga" - yoga practised according to the directions and specifications defined by Guruji.
Guruji replies,
"I do not call what I teach 'Iyengar yoga'. Yoga is one. How can there be Iyengar yoga then? What I teach is what Maharshi Patanjali has imparted."
