Roberto Firmino, 32, from Alagoas, was consecrated pastor of an evangelical church that he founded in Maceió alongside his wife, Larissa Pereira. The player was baptized in 2020, shortly after his wife.

The baptism took place in the swimming pool of a house in Liverpool, England. He opened Manah Church in Maceió the following year.
