Les Lions et Lionnes de Sambo du Cameroun qui ont participé au Championnat d'Afrique de Sambo qui vient de se terminer à Conakry, en Guinée, sont attendus au pays à 14 heures aujourd'hui via l'aéroport international de Nsimalen.

Le Maroc, qui avait des combattants dans les 25 catégories, ont remporté 12 médailles, 9 en or. Le Cameroun, participant à seulement 11 catégories, a terminé à la deuxième place avec un total de 11 médailles, dont 5 en or. Le Burkina Faso a complété le podium avec 2 médailles, dont une en or.

19 pays ont participé à ce 19e Championnat d'Afrique de Sambo.

The 2025 African Sambo Beach Championship got underway in Conakry, Guinea, just 24 hours after the 19th Sambo African Championship. Six Cameroonian Sambo athletes took part in the competition, and they put up an impressive performance. Four of the athletes, Tombou Julien (+98kg), Tadjuka Frank (-88kg), Meyong Ondoua Frank (-64kg), and Kamsu Glwadys (+88kg), emerged victorious, claiming gold medals in their respective categories.

While the first four athletes shone, K**a Max Kevin (-71kg) secured a silver medal, narrowly missing out on gold. Unfortunately, Tsanga Marie (-54kg) faced a tough loss in the bronze final, ending her medal hopes. Despite this setback, the overall performance of the Cameroonian team was impressive, showcasing the country's growing prowess in Sambo. The back-to-back championships in Conakry highlighted the athletes' dedication and resilience, and it will be exciting to see how they build on this momentum in future competitions.

Le Championnat d'Afrique de Sambo 2025 s'est conclu à Conakry, en Guinée, avec le Maroc terminant premier au classement général. Le Maroc, qui a aligné des athlètes dans les 25 catégories, a remporté un total de 12 médailles, dont 9 en or.
