As the Indian Shooting Team is leaving for Paris 2024, I would like to congratulate the entire team and my dear friends who made it to the Olympics. It was indeed an incredible Olympic cycle this time with many victories and defeats, and I treasure it all.

I had the opportunity to learn and experience so much, specially in the last 3 years. Putting that to work on myself day and night has been a journey I’ll cherish forever.
There were a few matches that unfotunately didn’t go as I hoped, but I am taking them positively and moving on to the next. That’s exactly what sports teaches us- NOT TO GIVE UP!

I thank my parents, my coach, my entire team and my sponsors for always believing in me and supporting me through all the good n bad days. I also thank each one of my well-wishers for their support; You guys always motivate me.

And of course, I thank those who always gets excited to talk about my defeats more than my wins, from bottom of my heart.🙏🏻

I also want to thank my friends and teammates for an amazing competitive Olympic season.
I learned so much from each of you and I wish all the best to all of you.

Mehuli Ghosh: Shooting for the stars and Olympic glory Mehuli, 23, a World Championship, Commonwealth Games, and Youth Olympic medallist is now looking to shine at the Asian Games and Paris 2024 Olympics.

Home coming is always special but it’s way more special to come home after winning my first ever World Championship individual 🥉and also securing an Olympic Quota for India 🇮🇳 it was an absolute thrilling day for me where I gave one of my best fights both in qualification and finals. Qualifying with a 634.5 at world champs definitely makes me feel proud, strong & motivated. It’s a day I will cherish forever.

And I take this moment to dedicate a heartfelt thanks to my coach Bibaswan Ganguly sir you have always believed in me through thick & thin since 2015 when I first came to your house hoping if I can get coaching from you. How you stood by me in my most difficult phase when I was at my lowest is truly a blessing to me. Your undying efforts in every small details in shooting truly inspires me to keep working hard. All the hard work, visualisation, sacrifices finally gets a meaning to it. Yes I know you will still say there’s a lot more to do and yes I agree. There’s a lot more to do a lot more to Learn from you. But at this very moment I want to thank you for guiding me all the way through.

Here’s a post of the day I will remember for my life 🤩
There are so many highlights of this match; a breath taking qualification, an amazing finals to secure the 1st position. But among all of this the highlight of the day was that I got to play the finals with my sister who qualified for the India team selection trial 4 for the first time with an amazing score of 631.1
Not only that, she fought a brilliant finals where she gave neck to neck fight to me to secure the 2nd position herself. This truly was a dream of mine since the day she started shooting that one day we will win side by side. And now I can tick this off my bucket list.

I am so proud of you Di ❤️ for all the hard work you have put and that showed in the way you played. There’s a long way to go for you for me and I wish to win many more with you by my side. Congratulations Swarnali Roy loads of love and success 🫶🏻🌟

National Games medal off from my wish list now ✅ ☺️

I have been waiting to participate in National Games for years and now winning bronze medal 🥉 at my debut performance feels wonderful.

Looking forward for another good match tomorrow in mixed event with my Partner Abhinav Shaw.
