he chance and founded the Shanghai Premier League and left the SIFL. Until today the Lions have been playing in the SPL and won 7 Championships and 5 SPL’ Cups. a predominately French team in order to be able to play in both the SIFL and SPL. Its was at that time the idea came up to enter as the Lions in as many competitions as possible. The Lions entered into the Summer 7’s and into the Shanghai Masters (veterans) and into the Fantasy League 7’s on Mondays. It proofed to be a success as we were able to win many of these tournaments. The Lions even went overseas to Phuket and won the 7’s in November 2011. Last but not least we were voted ?Best Sports Team of Shanghai? in 2010 and 2011 ! Football in Shanghai is not like back at home. The biggest problem is that there are not enough Playing Pitches and that there are no Football Clubs. So this was our motivation to found the Shanghai Lions Football Club in 2012. We like to bring the ?Club Feeling? we all remember from back home to Shanghai ! We aim to enter all high level amateur competitions with the Lions and will organize training sessions on good training facilities. We like to win trophies and like to play competitive level Football. Our secret formula of winning is the combination of Team Spirit / Friendship / Training / Discipline.
