This week in K4, we’re focusing on Robots! 🤖 The children made their own robots using recycled materials, and we chatted about the different jobs robots can do, especially how their robot could help us in our classroom and what it would do to support us during the day. ♻️✨

Every chess master starts with learning the board, the pieces, and that very first move. In our lively chess class, children learn through play, building concentration, memory, and problem-solving skills as they begin their chess journey.

This week K4 has been using silly sentences to practice sentence writing and dictation! For this activity, we choose three sentence parts at random (noun + verb + preposition phrase) to make a silly sentence. Then students encode each word from what they hear, making sure they use a capital letter, finger spaces and punctuation to write the sentence. Such a fun way to practice writing and phonics skills!
