Ocean Plan proudly presented its Diver Physiological Monitoring System — an innovative solution designed to enhance diver safety through real-time biometric tracking.

Worn on the upper arm prior to donning a diving suit, the system continuously monitors vital signs such as heart rate during underwater operations. The collected data is wirelessly transmitted and instantly relayed to command personnel, whether above or below the surface.

By delivering continuous physiological insights, this system significantly improves situational awareness and decision-making, offering a critical layer of safety and operational support in challenging underwater environments.

Underwater communication can be strengthened through various methods besides line signals. The PSD teams use Underwater Communication and Navigation System to establish underwater wireless network and stay connected with the divers.

Underwater communication is vital for diver safety and successful searches. Most public safety diving takes place in low or zero visibility, making it crucial to maintain efficient and stable communication and accurate positioning between the surface and divers, as well as among the divers themselves.
