Hi Michelle,
I raced my new wheels last week and wanted to let you know how they worked. They ride AWESOME!!!! My biggest concern was how the braking performance would be. The first race was dry and the braking was very good, much better than I thought they would be so I was very pleased. Good stopping power. The next day, second race, it was raining and again I was concerned but after testing brake performance while wet the breaking was still pretty good. By the end of the race I was confident in the brakes performance. I'm using (Swiss Stop) Flash Pro Yellow pads. The wheels have fantastic lateral stillness and response during acceleration is amazing. They roll very fast.Using the 50mm tubular rims, I used Alchemy Hubs ELF front and ORC rear. They're US made very high quality and a bit expensive. 66g front 222g rear. I used DT swiss Aerolite spokes with alloy ni***es and Schwalbe One tires. I love my new wheels!!!
