On Saturday 31 January, Albatross, Geroskipou proudly hosted its very first “Fun Doubles” competition, specially designed for new and fresh players – and it was a fantastic success!
In just 3 hours, 21 members played an incredible 68 games, filling the evening with energy, laughter, and friendly competition. The atmosphere was relaxed, welcoming, and perfect for anyone new to the sport.
🏆 Congratulations to our winners:
Overall Winner: Veronika, who dropped only 1 point all evening – amazing performance!
Men’s Category Winner: Olegsandr
Runners-up: Oksana and Sergey
Third Place: Elena, Aisha, and Lev
A big thank you to Nick (Personal Trainer) and Athos (Physiotherapist) for generously providing the tournament prizes 🙌
Most importantly, everyone had a great time, made new friends, and left smiling. Events like this are exactly what our club is about – fun, community, and enjoying sport together.

Great News!!! Visit Planned.
Two coaches from our parent club, Albatross '83 in Nicosia, plan to visit us this Saturday, 11 October. Antonis and Antonis will help with our junior sessions.
Plans are underway for our first competitive match.
On Friday 17 October we will welcome a team from Proodeftikos Badminton Club, Paphos.
Our team will be announced next week.
