A few more moments from our IT House Concert :notes: Still feeling inspired by the people, the music, and the atmosphere we got to share together at our Cyprus office.

The hackathon is this weekend – there’s still time to sign up and enter our challenge!

You don’t have to be a developer to join. If you’re involved in a music tech project in any way – design, product, research, music, creative direction, or simply bringing ideas to life – you’ll fit right in. We’re looking for anyone who can contribute to the next big MuseHub hit.

And if you can’t make it to Lisbon in person, you can still participate remotely by joining a team that’s attending onsite.

Find more information and sign up through the link in our bio!

At Muse Group, we’re passionate about music – and we see it as a shared language that brings people together. That’s why contributing to the musical community matters to us, not only globally but also through local, real-life moments. Regular events at our Limassol office are one way we do that.

Recently, we hosted an open talk with an Emmy-winning music editor Lena Glikson, who joined us online from Los Angeles. We walked through real examples of how music for film and TV comes together, explored what a music editor actually does, and talked about how creative decisions shape what we hear on screen.

Talking about music naturally turned into playing music. The evening continued with our IT House Concert – part of an ongoing tradition of cozy, community-driven live shows.

Special thanks to all who made this event possible!

We’re proud of our team every day, but this one deserves a special mention.

Joel Robertson, our B2B Growth Partner, has been named to the 30 Under 30 Europe list in the Entertainment category.

Alongside his work on the B2B side, he’s also a talented musician and entrepreneur. It’s great to see that recognised.

In his words:

“Being named on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list is honestly surreal, the kind of recognition I could only have dreamt of. I’m incredibly proud, and couldn’t be happier to fly the flag for Muse Group and Hal Leonard, reflecting the awesome work we’re doing here. I get to work at a company I genuinely love, in an industry I’ve been immersed in since I was 17. That passion makes it easy to push for new opportunities, find ways to grow, and keep raising the bar. This recognition is a reminder that the work matters, and the best is still to come!”

Congrats, Joel! Well deserved.

At Muse Group and Hal Leonard, we’re committed to supporting music education and helping more young people discover the joy of making music. We’re pleased to have donated 10 Mahalo Pearl ukuleles to de Buitenkans Primary School in Heerenveen, Netherlands.

“What a wonderful gift! We’re incredibly happy with the ukuleles and can’t wait to explore them together with the children. We can already see how much joy and curiosity they spark – there’s experimenting, laughter, and making music together. Thank you for this beautiful musical addition; we’re excited to hear all the lovely sounds that will come to life!” – De Buitenkans Primary School representative.

We look forward to seeing how these instruments support creativity, collaboration, and musical exploration in the classroom!

How do you imagine a strategy session? An offsite meeting, suits, PowerPoint presentations? Ours looks a bit different.

Once a year, we stop everything for four days and bring the whole team into one online space to look at what we’ve built and where we’re going next. We call it Seasons. It’s our version of a strategy session, but with everyone involved, no matter their role, team, or location.

Over those days, people walk through what actually happened, what didn’t work, and what’s coming next, while others jump in with questions, reactions, or context.

There’s a lot happening around it too. Music, side conversations, jokes, but by the end, everyone leaves with a clear sense of direction and how their work fits into it.

Behind the scenes, the ops team plans everything in detail so the whole thing doesn’t feel like a formal event. As Sasha Smirnova, Operations Manager behind Seasons, puts it:

“This year was a big milestone for me personally. With all the changes to how we plan and some last-minute adjustments, I’m proud of what the team pulled off. Bringing the whole company together through a remote ritual, and making it feel like something people actually want to be part of — that’s the work I care about most.”

Each year also has its own theme and visual style, created by our design team.

Scroll through and see how it’s evolved over time.

Bad Bunny is in everyone’s feed right now, and we’re here for it 🏈

When his Super Bowl halftime show was announced back in September 2025, searches for his tabs and scores on Ultimate Guitar and MuseScore went up immediately. Musicians weren’t waiting for the performance, they were already learning the songs.

After the show, those numbers jumped even higher. LO QUE LE PASÓ A HAWAii saw the biggest increase at +371%, thanks to Ricky Martin’s performance.

Did you pick up any of his songs after watching?

Olivia Dean won Best New Artist at the Grammys this past week 🏆

We’re always curious how rising artists land with musicians who actually play music, so we looked at the data from Ultimate Guitar and MuseScore. This time, the favorites aren’t identical across platforms, but Ultimate Guitar users happen to agree with the Academy.

Here are the Best New Artists, ranked by musicians who learn and play their songs.

Thanks to our community and team, tabs and scores for their latest releases are already available on our platforms.

Who’s your personal Best New Artist of the year?

A look back at 2026 🎶

It was a busy few days filled with real conversations, quick catch-ups that turned into long talks, and plenty of new faces. This year, we were there with colleagues from Hal Leonard Music Instrument Distribution, Sales, and MuseHub, focused on listening, learning, and exchanging ideas.

Sharing a few moments we captured between meetings and conversations. Thanks to everyone who stopped by. See you next year! 👋
