After the summer break, we started fast by scoring first at Ioannideia 2022 Regatta, the most prominent sailing event in Cyprus! 🏆
And not just we won the race - we collected every trophy possible 😀
Out of 26 boats ⛵️ we were:
🥇 in our Class;
🥇 Overall; and
🥇 in ORC Challenge Mare Nostrum Race!

Races of the Part I of the Cyprus National ORC Championship were tense and the competition was strong.
On Saturday, we started great with winning the first of the short technical races. However, having troubles with Spinnaker during the second race, we lost the momentum and came 2nd and 3rd in the other two races of the day.
On the following day, we put all our efforts into sailing the best we can and won the Long Offshore Race, which put us on the top of the leaderboard!
So it is - we are #1 in the Championship so far, but will need to keep this position during the autumns races which will take place in September.
We thank the team, the organisers and all the participants for the great races!

In Kataklysmos 2022 Race in Larnaca last Sunday, our team again finished first winning the First Prise it its category and overall.

What's up with Valkyrie?
Many of you may know that the season of 2021 did not go quite as well as we all hoped. In one of the first races of the season we lost our mast and the rest of the season was dedicated to rebuilding of the boat.
These are some photos from that devastating day of the 12th of June 2021 ...
Drydock works coming to completion. Very soon Valkyrie will be back on the water. Just adding few finishing touches affixing stickers of our new sponsor.
